An insurance agent represents the insurance company in all transactions. They get paid a commission from the company As a consultant, you retain me as a fee-based member of your team. You get unbiased advice from an insurance professional totally committed your improving your condition.
Prior to launching Toro Insurance Consultants, I served as a commercial account executive at two independent agencies in Western Washington, and as an underwriter for United Pacific Insurance. I'm a graduate of the University of Washington and received my Bachelor of Arts degree in 1987.
I've held the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) since 1996. I'm a faculty member for the Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) of Washington and Oregon educating agents on commercial property insurance.
As a former high school basketball coach, I enjoy educating coaches and teachers at all levels about how to protect themselves from liability. I've spoken for numerous coaches and teachers groups and serve as a trainer for the Archdiocese of Seattle "Called to Protect" program which trains educators and volunteers in the diocese who work with children.

I enjoy living in beautiful Poulsbo, WA with my wife, two daughters, and two dogs Charlie and Captain Jack.
